Reason 3/13
Another thing I am fond of are the tented camps. I like the luxury of the lodges and chalets but staying in a luxury tent is high on my list as well. What is a luxury tent, you ask? How does hot and cold running water sound? Ensuite toilets and shower are there too. Nice comfy beds with thick mattresses and lots of soft covers are the norm as well. My favorite thing about sleeping in the tent is listening to the night while falling asleep. Knowing there is only a thin piece of canvas between me and all of the African beasties is somehow exhilarating. Sounds crazy, I know, but I fall asleep quickly and sleep soundly.
