Family Vacation: Argentina Style, El Calafate

by david on May 7, 2013

El Calafate is a town located on Lake Argentino and is our gateway to Argentina’s Glacier National Park.  We will spend a day hiking in and around the glaciers and finish it off with a boat ride to get up close.  On the second day, we will spend most of the day on a boat seeing the glacier from various places and angles that we can simply cannot accomplish on foot.  Everyone really wants to see this.  After El Calafate it is back to Buenos Aries for the night and then the trip home.  Wish us luck and I promise a no-holds-barred review when I get back, complete with pictures and, hopefully, some video.
