Argentina, ready or not here I come

Those of you who followed my blog know that I hunted Africa last summer and had a wonderful time.  Even though the PAC elephant hunt went south, I still had a great hunt and harvested five great trophies.  I was fortunate enough to have time to visit old friends and make a few new ones.  I even saw a leopard in the middle of the day.  I did not have the opportunity to hunt him, but that is the beauty of Africa; you never know what you are going to see, and there is always something to bring you back another time.

This year, I am off on another adventure in completely unfamiliar territory.  A group of my bird hunting buddies and I are headed to Argentina for a week’s worth of wing shooting.  After the hunt, my wife and daughters are flying down and we are going to spend 10 or eleven days exploring Argentina.  Over the next several weeks, I will be writing about what I learned while planning, booking, and preparing for the trip.  I do not know if all if this will end up in another book, but it could be part of a compilation of hunting vacations I have taken along with detailed information on how to plan your own hunting vacation, family style.
