I am only a few days away from leaving for Namibia and I feel I need to apologize for not posting more entry’s to the blog. As the old saying goes there is too much to do and not enough time to do it in. I have laid out all my gear and have been checking it against the list in the book. I have to admit that I did pretty good by memory and have not left out too many things, but I did miss some. I guess it is a good thing I had a list to double check against.
I have to admit I am trying out a new toy I bought today. I had no idea Apple made a keyboard for the IPhone. This is ingenious as it is so much quicker than suffering from fat finger syndrome using the keyboard on the phone. This is going to be a godsend while I am in Africa and posting from the field. If it works as well as I think it is going to I will have one more item for my what to take list.
That will do it for now as I need to go tie up a few loose ends. I arrive in Windhoek Monday the 16th so start checking back then to see what is happening and to see if I have gotten myself into any trouble.
