Favorite recipe

Instead of a quote today how I give you a recipe
instead?  This is one of my favorites and
it is an easy one.  All you need are two
duck breast filets (in Africa sand grouse work great), four to six jalapeno peppers (you can substitute Anaheim peppers
if you like less heat) four strips of bacon, and tooth picks.

First cut the duck filets into 4-6 finger width strips and
soak them in salt water for about an hour.
Next halve the peppers lengthwise and remove the seeds.  Then cut the bacon strips into thirds.  After the breast strips have soaked rinse
them thoroughly and place a strip in halved jalapeno pepper.  Wrap the whole thing with a piece of bacon
and secure with a toothpick.  You can add
a little of your favorite seasoning if you want, but I like them plain.  Cook over medium hot coals for about 4 minutes
per side.  Do NOT cook the duck past
medium and rarer is better.  If you over
cook the duck you will regret it.  Last
but certainly not least open a cold beverage of your choice and enjoy.

Remember to always eat what you shoot.
